SeaLand has endeavored to provide the boat owner with a sanitation system which provides "At Home" convenience and reliability.
As with any quality product, satisfactory use depends on proper maintenance. Normal parts replacement varies with frequency of use,
quality of flushing water, etc. Seacoast Services has found that replacing the Bowl Seal, Flush Ball and Duck Bill Valves every 3-4 years will
give you an advantage in having a trouble free season. Also check for rusted hose clamps and tightness, kinked and permeated hoses,
level indicator probes, vent filter, wire connections for corrosion.

Bowl Seal:

The new Bowl Seal is a two-piece design with a thick outer rubber ring and a Teflon-coated inner ring. The two pieces fit together to provide the ultimate barrier against bowl leakage, while the Teflon coating allows the flush ball to open and close easily and prevents mineral build-up on the seal. *Service Tip: we recommend replacing your flush ball everytime you replace your bowl seal so that you get the best seal possible.
