Freedom to explore while living comfortably and economically motivates millions of Boat & RV owners every year to take their "homes on the road" for recreation, camping, and travel. However, Boat & RV owners cannot take services provided to their regular homes for granted while on traveling. They must manage the liquid level in their fresh, gray, waste water holding tanks and the LPG tank. Faulty  tank sensors can easily ruin a trip, causing the major inconvenience of a water shortage or an environmental problem with an overflow situation.

We offer the SensaTank level detection system  as an aftermarket kit to solve the reliability and accuracy problems with traditional float switches, foil tapes and resistive probes. Float switches are known to stick, corrode over time and mechanically fail due to vibration and shock. Foil tapes tend to loose their adhesiveness and tear. Accuracy of resistance probes can change as layers of debris build up on them, causing the the owner to recalibrate the levels or to suffer the inconvenience and cost of a complete holding tank wash out. In addition, differential thermal expansion between the metal probe and plastic holding tank can cause leakage problems over time.

  The SensaTank system uses Mirus™ detector cells based on field effect technology. It is a "non-invasive" system with the solid state sensors residing on the outside of the holding tank (or in the tank wall itself). This approach avoids contamination of the liquid level sensor by the tank contents. With no moving parts to degrade or fail, the solid state sensors are extremely resistant to vibration and shock during vehicle operation. Over the extended life of a Boat or RV , the SensaTank system can save hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars of maintenance.

  The SensaTank system includes a display panel with BRIGHT LED indicator lights that is designed to be flush mounted. Draws less than 0.001-amp when no keys are pressed.  A maximum 1-amp draw.
   

• Easy to install
  Installation is a snap. The SensaTank system has been designed with "plug and go" connectors. In this multiplexed system, one wire to the single display panel shows all three or four tank levels. In addition, SensaTank requires NO CALIBRATION making installation a breeze. Can be used on non-metallic tanks. Tanks can be any volume, and wall thickness up to ¾".
